I was moving files from WM 5.0 Smartphone over to SD storage.  I copies the pics and videos folder and then deleted it.  When I went to display the files on my PC, the 3g2 video files were missing.  I'm thinking if I undelete the folder on my phone, I can get the files back.  Any way to undelete files on a WM5.0 Smartphone?  Thanks, sulzener

Hello sulzener,

Put the SD card in a card reader (or connect the smartphone to the PC in USB stick mode) and the try with this tool http://www.majorgeeks.com/Avira_UnErase_d5284.html
From the same site if you like you can try also other data recovery programs (http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloads38.html)

Do you know how to put a Treo700WX in stick mode.  Has WM5.0 on it?  The files are not on the SD card.

sulzener,

sorry, I though they were on the SD card
All I can find is this http://www.download32.com/pd-undelete-i33129.html (althrough not free, but you can try it in trial mode)

as for palm in usb mode - the palm acts as a card reader so it's not usefull either

Thanks for your help.  I can navigate the Mobile device when I plug it in.  Seems like I need to map it to a drive letter for Avira to see it.  I basically need to undelete the My Documents\My Pictures on the Mobile device.  Any more ideas?

As far as I can tell, there is no solution to recover files deleted from a Windows Mobile folder.  I guess I'm stuck.  Thanks for your help.
