Strangly enough the iphone will sync just fine using these settings.  THe windows mobile based phones are not.

Also https://xxx.xxx.xxx/exchange

works great. So I know that communication is happening between the front end server and the backend server.  I have followed knowledge base article 883380 in an attempt to fix the problem.

I believe that is the expected behavior of pulling up /OMA in a web browser (which is why your iPhone works)

If you continue to have problems, you may want to use PowerShell to remove and recreate the activesync vdirs

Also keep in mind that /Exchange and /OMA are only supported for legacy use in Exchange 2007 (prefer /OWA and /Active-Sync)
