Require a software to continuously monitor internet download/upload performance

Every now and then, I go to  www.speedtest.net to check out the download/upload speed of an ADSL internet connection. This of course is ad hoc.
Could you recommend a software which will allow me to monitor download/upload speed continuosly.
Say for a week at a time to plot and analyse fluctuations over time.
Thanks in advance.

Take a look at PRTG from Paessler.  Their Traffic grapher will monitor bandwidth and if you get upgraded versions, usage, uptime and availability.    They offer a freeware version for personal and commercial use so long as you dont exceed 10 sensors.  If you have Cisco devices, it does use netflow.

Thanks NetAdminGuy.
It's a bit much for me. But going through the manual suggest that it will provide the information I need.
Will give it a go shortly.
