Move public folder data into file system

Hello,  we have an exchane 5.5 environment that has about 5.5 gigs of documents and folders in the public folders.  I need to move this data with its folder structure intact to the file system on a file server.  Anybody know the best approach to do this? Or if there are any free tools out there that can do this?

Was hoping for a way to accomplish this without expensive software, but after all my research it appears to be my only path.
