How to make changes to freely available web pages on the net using macromedia flash 8?

I have tried attaching the web pages of a freely available template and want to perform some changes to the images and text displayed there on each of those pages but since the extension is not allowed I have not attached the same but you can find it on www.doctorpiles.com/demo please let me know if you need anything else. what exactly is your question?
i've not downloaded the template and i'm not going to unless absolutely necessary but answer a couple of questions.
these web pages, they are flash fla files or flash swfs?
what changes to you want to make, what is stopping you from making those changes?

Hi - Thanks for your response, and yes this template has both fla and swfs files. Secondly I just want to replace the text in these files so that I can make a customized website of it. Besides if you think you need to download this template to further help me you can do so on www.hostbaap.com/download whatever.... thanks once again.
go into the library, and go through all the moveiclips that are there and change it to what you want.
Let me put it this way: Before talking to you I was successful in changing some of the parts but not all of it like for example , 1) I changed the Home Page Images but even after using the library section I am not successful in changing the text inside the Home Page. 2) Unlike images When trying to change the text on the Home Page I am not able to replay the text even after I have made changes to the text in the file. The new text is saved now inside the file but its not showing up on the home page unlike the images that are showing up without any problem. 3) Besides Home Page I am not able to find text which is used for other pages in the template.... how can I find and replace it?
>>  I am not successful in changing the text inside the Home Page
can you tell me what you did, and to which movieclip?
i am not able to replicate your problem.
I opened the fla file in macro media flash 8 and then went to the Library and went to the tweens Folder and then clicked on the Tween 41 file and here I am able to see the home page matter on the screen, then after clicking on the text tool even changed the text matter to the one which I wanted, then I saved the file and exported in swf but the text is not getting replaced with the new one on the template view... how is this happening? Because the new text is saved in the fla file but its not showing up on the template home page view as well as in swf.
you need to be  editing the movieclip.
i.e. home page folder inside the library you'll see a "home page" movieclip - and the same with the other "pages"
Yes you are right and am there in the homepage - movieclip, but I see nothing there and how do I edit that?

Perfect - but moving along the timeline and after unlocking all the layers I am not able to see any content or text or images whatsoever.
Hurray have got it right there and tried to change the text using the text tool that is Capital "A" towards the left. But after clicking on the text matter of the page the cursor is displaying a small box instead of cursor line generally displayed while typing text matter.
Means you didn't click on the right object, try pressing escape and use the selection tool to re-select the text you want to edit.
i have no idea what you're refering to .
i'm guessing you've never used flash before.
go to the window menu on the top of your screen and open the properties box if its not open. that will tell you what you have selected. So maybe you're no selecting a textfield but another movieclip.

humour me. make a screenshot.

Please check the screen shot I have attached.
