Multi column/multi select gridview or listbox

I am converting an Access listbox to ASP.NET.  The user needs two columns and multi select rows.  (blocks of rows).  The listbox doesn't provide multi columns and the gridview doesn't allow multi select without adding a checkbox.  Is ther a clean way of reproducing the Access listbox?

Thanks for the reply.  I have seen this solution before.  Is there any way to get the gridview to be multi select without using a checkbox?
