Capture Card not working with new Media Center Edition?!
I have just formatted this computer and re-installed Windows MCE 2005. This is a HP Media Center m7360n computer with the factory supplied capture card. Trying to configure the TV gives the error message:
TUNER NOT FOUND
The tuner hardware is either malfunctioning or
not installed. Please ensure that both the tuner
hardware and a valid tuner hardware driver are
installed.
All the drivers were installed from HP's website.

There doesn't appear to be any hardware conflicts or missing drivers in device manager.
"Conexant Falcon II NTSC Video Capture" appears in device manager with no conflicts.
I have installed a valid MPEG2 driver by installing PowerDVD 6. Any suggestions to get the
tv tuner working?

Post note, here's a guide that may assist you, please make sure you have the right cables to the correct video in.
Until this happens windows will not see it.
Maybe just a case of wrong connections. Or missing one.

there is a sequence to this stuff and if not installed right will fail,
you said here>>
with the factory supplied capture card << did you install the drivers first then insert this capture card?
Did you remove the capture when you formatted?
I'd take a look in the device manager look in multimedia you should see some drivers for the WDM drivers for the capture card-Crossbar, TV Tuner,
If you dont see anything open the VIEW at the top tick to show hidden devices.
