I have an application that was developed using Classic ASP - so I'd like to stick with that.  Unfortunately - there's a function that we need that is best done with a PHP application (we also have PHP installed on the server).  I think that would be a lot simpler than what's involved in writing the entire code via ASP or re-writing it in .NET.

So here's what I want to do.  I'd like to - from the ASP - make a call to the PHP code and obtain the value that is returned from it.

Would that be done via the webrequest/webresponse?  Can I see a quick sample of the syntax for that?

Thanks in advance!

Hi! Try this:

strCheckPage= "URL_TO_PHP_PAGE"
 Set objHTTP = Server.CreateObject("MSXML2.XMLHTTP")
 objHTTP.open "GET", strRedirectPage, false
 objHTTP.send()

strReturnString = objHTTP.responseText
