Using DFS to replicate software installs to local Windows 2003 Domain Controllers

I want to setup DFS to use it to deploy software installation for Service Pack 3 for XP.

I have setup a DFS on our main server at our main office. I really want to avoid clients using the DFS at the main office from remote offices and bogging down our network in order to update to SP3.

How can I get them to access their local DC at their site using the DFS I have created with SP3 in it?

Hi SCRLPB,

Perhaps I don't fully understand you question but one of the features of 2003's DFS is that it is AD Site Aware.  Take a look here for more info.  http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2003/techinfo/overview/dfsfaq.mspx#E4C
