Hi,

I"m going to seem cheap as ever on this, but I got a GX280 for nothing the other day from work (Mid-size tower, not slimline) and I was looking at using it as a desktop for awhile. I was curious to see that there are Core 2 Duo cpu's in pga775 socket size. I was wondering if these would work or not.

The CPU that was formally in this machine before it was gutted and given to me was a 3.6ghz pentium 4.

Thanks!

Your best bet...I got yesterday an Optiplex 755 on the Small Business Dell Outlet for 550 dollars. That had a dual core duo in it.
