I have a DTS that moves dBase data to my SQL 2005 Database.  This needs to be executed on command through my VB.NET application.

How can I run the DTS automatically or by clicking a button in my VB.NET application.

Microsoft help says I should reference their COM DTS namespaces and create a Standard EXE project, but I dont know what a Standard EXE project is.

Does anyone have a solution?

from your application you can call directly the SSIS Package or a SQL JOB that has inside a SSIS package.
See my blog there is post there about calling a ssis project from asp.net using VB.net code
