I download the driver to the server, and at the point of completing the driver installation, I get an error thrown at me:

"unable to install hp laserjet p2015 series pcl 5e, windows 2000, intel driver, operation could not be completed"

I have restarted the print spooler to no effect, and downloaded fresh copies serveral times.

I had this problem with an HP driver, too.  I know this sounds convoluted, but it worked..

Install the printer and configure it (IP, etc) the way you want it, but use the HP LaserJet4 driver.

After the printer is installed, go to the printer properties, and then change the driver.

Believe it or not, that was actually the solution that was posted on HP's website.  I don't recall what model it was, I think it was a 3005 I had a problem with.  I forget.
