My friend's Sony Vaio laptop will not start and his model is VGN-N11H, I've posted the question yesterday and the solution is to have the windows XP installation disc to reboot the system to use chkdsk &nbsp;BUT the problem now is that he doesn't have any system recovery discs nor the XP cd since it doesn't come with a vaio. <br />

So while I have a Vaio too but only a different model with system recovery discs, IS IT POSSIBLE TO USE THE DISCS CREATED FROM MY MODEL???<br />
