trying to configure fckeditor to work with foundeo jsp spell checker

both the fck editor and foundeo jsp spell checker are correctly installed and work great. i am trying to get the spell check to work with the editor. and have followed the instructions fromt his page: http://www.mollerus.net/tom/blog/2008/01/configuring_foundeo_spell_checker_to_work_with_col.html

the instructions work great and the spell checker check all the spelling int he fck editor. but the results/ changes do not translate over to the ediotr once spell check is complete.
i tried adding the last line to the done() function in the spell.jsp file (step 4) but this causes the spell checker to only check the first statement and not check the whole text in the ediotr also the changes do not translate over. without the last line the spell checker checks through the whole ediotr but the changes do not translate over to the editor once the spelling check is complete. Please help.

Do you have a spell.cfm file? What are you integrating fckeditor into, coldfusion or asp or? I think you might be adding the step 4 line the wrong place...

no i am integrating the fck editor with the foundeo jsp spell checker as i have mentioned in my question. The steps are the same, as its mainly java script being added to a form. however, i have the spell.jsp file and not a spell.cfm file. so i have added the statement to the end of the done() function in the spell.jsp. Now i have managed to get the spell checker to check through the whole file even after adding the statement but the changes still do not translate over. there was a need for braces so i have added:
if(parent.opener.spellcheckerFinish) {
                parent.opener.spellcheckerFinish();
                                        }
to the end of the done function and spell checker checks through the entire context of the editor but the changes do not translate over.

Could you put an alert into the function spellcheckerFinish wich is found on the page where you have the form with the editor? This to see if this function gets called. Also, do you get any javascript errors?

function spellcheckerFinish() {
      // Put the spell-checked text back into the FCKEditor
      alert('back_to_editor');
      FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance(document.compose.message.id).SetHTML(document.compose.spellcheckText.value);
      return false;
}

the error was int his statement. i changed it to:

function spellcheckerFinish() {
      // Put the spell-checked text back into the FCKEditor
      FCKeditorAPI.GetInstance('emailbody').SetHTML(document.dataentry.emailbody.value);
      return false;
}

thanks.
