Yes during installation I recieved 2 errors

'Couldn't encrypt successfully'  so click on continue button  then I received another error

'An error occurred during runtime'         I ignored it ...

but final screen said .. installation has been done successfully.

thanks for your attention
Seems the installation was not completed successfully. You might use incorrect Developer 10g version for windows.

Do you have windows XP home or professional version?
What is exactly the version of the Oracle Developer suite?

I am using Windows XP SP2. I think developer edition "Oracle 10g Developer suite (9.0.4.0.1)"

Ok, 9.0.4 is certified as per Oracle certification Matrix; you need to reinstall it again and if you get same errors, post them and let we troubleshoot them (don't go with ignore option).

HI,
I got same errors during re-installation process of Developer suite...

I recieved 'Could n't encrypt successfully' when updateing 'D:\DevSuiteHome\install\portlist.ini'
and clicked continue after clicked Retry button couple of time

and second error 'AN error occurred during runtime' prompted when it was working on path below..

'spawning 'D:\DevSuiteHome\jdk\bin\javaw.exe -classpath D:DevSuiteHome\BC4J\j....'

I also attached log file of installation process.

Thank you very much once again on your attention
I couldn't find the log file, can you attach it again?

I think some problem with upload control of this site any way I uploaded on different site here is link for log file

thank you
Most probably, the problem comes because you have oracle 10gR2 database installed on the same box. I think the installer got confused by the Oracle Inventory which located under C:\Program Files\Oracle\Inventory. Some executables and files paths are taken from the inventory of one oracle home and used for the other.

To phase out the problem, try to install it on another free-oracle-product machine.
