How can I get rid of this error message?  The message is coming from the bootloader.  I upgraded the bootloader to the latest image but this didn't help.

After this IOS is fully loaded, the PA shows up when I do a show diag:

Message refers to an ethernet port in slot 1.

But you are talking about a T3 port in slot 6.

Am I missing something?

I'm sorry, I took the PA out of slot 1 and put it in slot 6.  Why the error message is saying it is ethernet is beyond me.

Router#sh bootv
BOOT variable = disk2:c7200p-adventerprisek9-mz.124-15.T1.bin,1;
CONFIG_FILE variable does not exist
BOOTLDR variable does not exist
WARM_REBOOT variable = FALSE
Configuration register is 0x2102

There is no bootloader variable set but yet it keeps using whatever bootloader is loaded in bootflash instead of booting directly to full IOS.  Why?

Sounds like you need a version 1.14 PAM and you've only got a v1.1.

The output interpreter says to contact Cisco. :-o

This is what I was afraid of.  I was able to get rid of the message entirely when I deleted the bootloader, but after a reload it searches for the bootloader despite no bootloader variable being set, gives an error saying it can't find it, and then boots normally with no errors.

Thanks for the help.
