In error I put 8 lab servers on the Domain. I need to remove them from the Domain. They are not DC just playing old LAb servers. What are the correct steps to take to remove them from the Domain and Active Directory.

Please do always remember to know the password of the local admin account before you remove it from domain...if you dont know it you will never be able to login to the server once removed from domain......
Also if you are AD domain, once you remove this server from domain you have to manually search for the machine account and delete it..Thats all
