Need Sample codes for a simple webpage that reads and writes to SQL database IIS on Windows

HI,
treating me as a complete newbee to web programming, I appreciate if someone can give me a link where i can download sample code.

all i need to do is  - read and write to a database ( SQL Server ), the web page will be hosted on IIS/ Windows. so I need hosting information too on that platform.

I use Visual Studio 2005 C# on .net Framework 2.0
