Need to setup MySQL 5 on JBoss 4.2 application server using Eclipse 3.3 and JDK 1.5

I am using jboss 4.2 application server with eclipse 3.3 (code name europa) and am using jdk1.5 .  By default, JBoss comes installed with the Hypersonic database.  However, I want to be able to use MySQL 5 instead.  I would sincerely appreciate it if someone could give me the FULL STEP BY STEP PROCESS of configuring MySQL with JBoss for EJB3 programming.  I want all the steps that I would need in case in the future I decide to use Oracle or PostGreSQL instead.  Moreover, I also would like to what additional steps I need to take, if any, to work with hibernate, and the spring framework with EJB3, and MySQL.

Thanks to all who reply.
Sincerely;
Fayyaz

one thing keep in mind that when create datasource for mysql or any database the configuration file i.e xml file must always ends with -ds.xml file.

all related datasources are there in this folder.
C:\jboss-4.0.2\docs\examples\jca

take mysql-ds.xml  and copy this file in C:\jboss-4.0.2\server\default\deploy and make the changes .

Thanks so much for your prompt reply, and my sincerest apologies for not replying earlier, as I have been quite busy.  I read somewhere that I need to replace the hsqldb-jdbc2-service.xml with mysql-jdbc2-service.xml file (which I put in the servicer/xxx/deploy/jms directory).  Is this necessary?  Do I need to change anything in these files?  What about the persistence.xml file?  What changes do I need to make there?  I also read somewhere that I have to replace the hsqldb-persistence-service.xml file with the mysql-persistence-service.xml file in the messaging directory.  Is this the same as the mysql-jdbc2-service.xml file?

Sorry once again for the delay in replying, and thanks once again for your help.
Sincerely;
Fayyaz

If you are using JMS then its neccessary.replace hsqldb JNDI datasource with mysql datasource name.

Do I need to change anything in these files?  What about the persistence.xml file?  What changes do I need to make there?
