220 server is not acceptin connections

Hi guys,

Looked though the site and have seen similar questions, havent been able to resolve the issue with the answers though.

Have a client that not been able to send emails to AOL addresses (aomgst some others), this has only been for the last two weeks or so, as they were able before, They are using Exachnge 2003 and are on a BT connection, we have RDNS setup for our domain, and i have checked DNSBL.info for spam listings, they were on Five-Ten.SRC but this was removed a few says back now.

when using SMTPDiag I get the following results

I have seen resolutions of creating a seperate SMTP connector for aol addresses but this does not seem to have worked, maybe im doing it incorrectly,

ESM - Connectors - New SMTP Connector -  Forward all mail to this connector (mail.biconncet.com) - add my mail server as local bridgehead - outbound security annoymouse (as stated by article on support forum - add address space of aol.com cost of 1 - not sure if im suppose to tick allow messages to be routed to these domains but i did... - restarted MS Exchange Info Store, Route Eng and Sys Attendant services.

After doing this ive ran the SMTP Diag and still get the same issue.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Okay, is it stupid of me to assume that because we anre not on any RBL that we would not be BL by AOL? or do they use their own one?
Okay spoken with Bt who are going to contact AOL to Whitelist us, as i found this via telnet session and the fact that he was the first/only person to help with the issue will award points to Exchange Geek..

thanks for your help.
