Haivng problem connecting IUSR to SQL database without giving sysadmin permissions.

IIS 6.0--SQL 2005
I am trying to allow IUSR to access an sql database.  The error message is Login failed for user and error
18456, severity level 14 and state 11 in the SQL server log.  If I assign the IUSR account sysadmin roll then everything works.  I know that is not secure.  I added IUSR to the database security and gave it datareader and writer.  I have tried all kinds of combinations for the permissions on the database and also at the table but when I take away the sysadmin role IUSR then prompt the error message and the user can no longer access the database via the web form.  Any help would be greatley appreciated.

Hi

that is not a good idea.  better to make a new domain user for IIS and then give permission in SQL server to access the relevant database/s

cheers.

I am not a member of a domain.  Should I make a new windows user or a sql server user and then
use that userid and password to connect to the database?  Then would I just give IUSR permissons at the folder level so it can access the html forms?
