I can't resize the program window. Clicking the square will minimize the window and only way to maximise again is to right click and select  maximize or restore.  I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling it with no luck

Thanks

It may help to let us know what program you are having a problem with.

When you uninstalled the program, did you just use add/remove programs?  Or did you also go through the registry and the programs folders to remove ALL traces of the program?

Did this ever work?  Or was it like that from the beginning?

If it worked before, most likely it maintains some sort of profile information that uninstalling the program does not clear.  This is done by a lot of programs in case people decide to reinstall, their settings are still there.

At that point I guess it is up to your developer to fix their programming.

On other thing you could try.. see if you can run the program in XP compatiblity mode... Right click on the exe, goto properties.  In there you can set it to run as if it were running under XP.
