Change Product Key on XP Service pack 3

I have about 20 computers all with OEM product Keys.  I built the first one and installed all updates including service pack 3.  I imaged that hard drive via ghost and tried to change the product key via several ways:
1.  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/328874
2 Magic Jelly Bean Keyfinder
3.  (XP Key Changer) http://www.moonvalleysoft.com/ this one claims it changes even in sp3 and it did not work for me.
4.  Rock XP

None of them worked.

The problem seems to come back to that fact that on that first hard drive I activated XP and after updating to SP3, there is no way to DE-ACTIVATE

Has any one else ran into this problem.  And please I know about syspep.  I done this method hundredths of times but never after installing SP3.

Thanks for any help

Change your Product Key without a Reinstall to match your
genuine Product Key or COA:

First, please verify if your COA sticker or product key: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/howtotell/en/coa.mspx
matches your Product Key being used on your system. You can
view your product key with the Genuine Advantage diagnostics tool
(at least the last 15 digits) located here:
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012

The Genuine Advantage Product Key Update Tool is only valid for
users attempting to change their current non-genuine Product Key
to a genuine COA sticker or genuine Product Key - all without a reinstall! http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=50346&clcid=0x409
