Access Share Point files from OWA 2007

Hi everyone
I have Server 2008 with EX 2007.
I have enabled the Direct File Access feature both on the Public and Private computer file access tabs. Both Windows file shares and SharePoint services check boxes are marked. I am able to access all file shares from OWA when typing \\servername, but not Sharepoint files.
I am able to access my sharepoint portal.
My question is: Is that even possible, and if so what am I missing?
I have already read this article:

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Sorry for the late reply
Was offline on a vacation..
Anyway, I looked at the article, but still, my question is very simple:
I have enabled and configured everything needed on the server side (If not, please let me know what am I missing)
How do I access my SharePoint files through OWA?
File shares are accessible very easy - \\servername
How do I access my sharepoint files?
The main page is http://portal

Thank You
