ODBC Adapter exception in VB.net

Hello,

I have an application that is running on user PC's.  it is developed using Studio 2008 in .net and uses an odbc adapter to pull information from a database.

I am having a random error on a couple pc's and i cannot pinpoint where it is coming from.  In the event log I have the following error (fhDesktop is the name of the app):

EventType clr20r3, P1 fhdesktop.exe, P2 1.0.0.0, P3 48fbadf9, P4 system.data, P5 2.0.0.0, P6 4333aea2, P7 18a5, P8 19, P9 system.data.odbc.odbcexception, P10 NIL.

can anyone point me in the right direction?

If that's all the info you get from the event log, you'll have to add proper exception handling in your database code to catch the exception and output some meaningful diagnostics.  As a shortcut, you may be able to get away with just catching all unhandled exceptions via the AppDomain.UnhandledException event or My.Application.UnhandledException event.

THanks!  I did add exception handling and was able to determine that there were connectivity issues with the PC and server.
