How to configure Apache web server 2.2, Tomcat Manager, 6, installed on linux ( CentOS 5 ), also installed is mod_jk apache connector

Hi all,

I recently subscribed to a linux based-hosting service and the version is CentOS 5.  Along with this I have installed, an Apache Web Server 2.2, Tomcat  - latest build, mod_jk apache connector.  I can see my tomcat server because I can type http://domain.com:8080/ and get a welcome page.  However, when I point my browser to http://domain.com:8080/manager I get an error - the requested resource is not available.

Steps taken to resolve this problem:
1) Editing tomcat-users.xml file to include a user with manager role
2) Editing the server.xml file and changing occurences of localhost to mydomain.com

Any step by step instructions for configuring manager on this linux OS would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Experts,
