I would like to find a way to force Internet Explorer to open .eml file from a sharepoint search in Outlook Express. &nbsp;Currently when selecting an eml search result Internet Explorer converts the .eml to MHTML and opens in the browser. &nbsp;The issue with this is it shows no Heade information, or attachments. &nbsp;If there was a way to force the .eml to open in Outlook express I could see the header info and attachments.

In Windows Vista, Outlook Express was superseded by Windows Mail, then again by Windows Live Mail as separate software. Outlook Express is a different application from Microsoft Outlook. Beginning with Windows Vista Microsoft included Windows Mail, based on large parts of Outlook Express source code.
