How do I refresh a listbox control on a web form in asp.net?

I have an asp.net application that has a listbox that is data bound to a detailsview control.  After the user updates the database using the detailsview, I want the listbox to refresh.

I have tried doing a response.redirect back to itself.  It works okay with an Insert but not with a Delete.  Is there a way that I can do the redirect so that the web form completely reloads?

THANKS!!
