Can some one show me how I can set report credentials programmatically using Visual C#?

That article explains different scenari without giving examples and snippets. I would have prefered a more elaborated example.

The article explains how to implement the IReportServerCredentials, which will allow you to set reports credentials programatically, which is what you are trying to do.
There are code snipetts if you click on the links under "How to Specify Connections". Specifically, have a  look at this one: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.reporting.webforms.ireportservercredentials.aspx
