DIsplay problem Screen pixelate

Suddenly the screen has gone big pixelate with green lines boxes. I can only see the top part of the screen. First I thought may be OS need to be reinstalled & I reinstalled XP but still same prob. Need Help.

Video card or screen. Do not attempt to dismantle the screen. Your local HP authorized repairer will locate the problem. They have a lid/screen exchange system where your complete unit is swapped for a refurbished one, but if you damage it they won't do the job. If it is the card, you will likely need to replace the motherboard.

Thanks for quick response. I have even connected my pc monitor and the output on it is also same. Does it mean that it is definately graphics card.If so is there any other cheap option  then changing the motherboard.

That model appears to have integrated video, so unfortunately it looks like a motherboard. Only found DV9000 though, not your specific part number, so you might be lucky....
