Flash Effect: Drawing

Hi,

I need to create an effect that makes it look like the object is being drawn over time.  To illustrate and clarify I have created this file.

http://www.purezone.co.za/test/test.html

(I did this by having white boxes move down and right to reveal the lines underneath.)

I need to do this effect for the letter S which throws my 'cheat' above out of the window.

Please help by pointing me in the right direction on how to do this.

Thanks in advance.

The first example pointed me to an alternative way of doing it. Editing the object frame by frame using an eraser.  It takes long but it is effective.

Thanks.
