netthing,

I am pretty fond of BosDates (http://www.bosdev.com/bosdates/). Among other things, I have used it for a system for an entire town, so there is a master calendar, and sub calendars for various city departments, library, affiliated organizations, chamber of commerce, etc. It works great and is inexpensive.

Cheers,
