Epson Projector and Acer Laptop not playing nice

Hello,

I have an Epson PowerLite 1705c that I'm trying to use to project the desktop from my Acer 5050 Laptop. I have no problems using this projector with any other desktops/laptops, but for some reason with this one the projector doesn't display the left 2 inches of the screen.

Any ideas?

Resolution of the laptop is 1280 x 800. I've used the projector on screens with both higher and lower resolution than this without problem. Laptop is running Windows XP.

The projector is hooked up via the Acer's external monitor port.

Thanks!

What O/S is this? If in windows, you may look at the graphics setup (monitors, resolutions and such) and check the refresh rate that is used for the projector. If in doubt about which to choose, go for 60 Hz.
