I have an Epson PowerLite 1705c that I'm trying to use to project the desktop from my Acer 5050 Laptop. I have no problems using this projector with any other desktops/laptops, but for some reason with this one the projector doesn't display the left 2 inches of the screen.<br />

Any ideas?<br />

Resolution of the laptop is 1280 x 800. I've used the projector on screens with both higher and lower resolution than this without problem. Laptop is running Windows XP.<br />

The projector is hooked up via the Acer's external monitor port.<br />

Epson Projector and Acer Laptop not playing nice

A laptop or notebook is a portable personal computer with a clamshell form factor, suitable for mobile use. Laptops Notebooks

The display device in modern monitors is typically a thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT-LCD) thin panel, while older monitors used a cathode ray tube (CRT) about as deep as the screen size. They are connected to the computer via VGA, DVI, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt, LVDS or other proprietary connectors and signals.
