I'm trying to find a way to query messages in an information store on MS Exchange 2003 based on key words and phrases.  I don't want to query individual mailboxes, but the entire store.  There doesn't appear to be a feature built in.  Is there a method for doing this from MS?  A 3rd party?

Hi,
I am not sure how comfortable you are with ExMerge. For me that tool has been the most under utilized tool in Exchange 2003. See you can use Exmerge to Export Mails from Exchange 2003 Database based upon a search criteria of your keywords. Then you can look at the output :-) !
Well this is not a straight solution, but the best free solution and inbuilt.
Thanks
Nitin

Wish they had a simple scannable indexing tool, but this did the trick.  Thanks!

Unfortunately, Exmerge only searches subjects and attachments.  Is there any tool to search for keywords in the body of the message or the From: field?
