calendar appointments not appearing in daily style

I have a couple of people that have full calendars but when they try to print a one page daily view only some (usually recurring) appointments appear.  Same is true for anyone trying to view their calendar or free/busy time.
The appointments appear in Outlook today, a two page daily view, or the weekly or monthly style.

Any ideas would be appreciated.  Thank you
