no symbols are loaded for any call stack frame

Hi,
I'm calling a C dll fron Java. The code compiled OK but it's not returning anything. When i debug the dll using attach process i got an error saying: "no symbols are loaded for any call stack frame". Do you what is the problem? thanks

The problem most probably is that the process you want to attach to is a java process where the C/C++ debugger won't find any debug information (symbols).

I don't know a way out beside to build a C++ test executable for testing the dll.

I'm calling a C dll in Java and I attach javaw.exe to debug the C dll.
How else can I do to thebug the dll?

You could write a little C++ console program which simulates the Java calls and where the dll was linked against. That could be debugged by simply starting it from  the IDE.
