convert .r files into STATA files

Hello All,

I am totally new to these file types..never heard of them before but i need to do the conversion...Would any one out there how to convert .r files into STATA files? Can you please first explain the file types and also provide/direct me to a tool or software out there that can achieve this...

the .r files are used for a statistical program developed by the folks at University of Bristol. It can be found at http://www.r-project.org/
