Print quality when printing to a Konica Bizhub Pro C500 using Fiery driver

An employee brought to my attention yesterday that a document was pixelated when printed from workstation 2 compared to how it looked when he printed it from workstation 1.

I installed the same Fiery X3e 50C-K v1.0 printer driver onto workstation 2 but no improvement in the print quallity of the document. The document is a PDF file with graphics. The pixelation isn't horrible but it's noticeable.

Workstation 1 is a more beefed-up PC than workstation 2, and possibly also has a better video card (I'll be verifying this later today and comparing specs), but they're both running XP Pro. I'm wondering what else I can look at improving on workstation 2 to resolve this print quality problem.

Could the onboard video card, for example, contribute to print quality limitations? Thanks.

Check the Print Quality options on the user's printer properties.  Sounds like he may have it in draft mode.  

I wouldn't think the video card should be an issue but I would at least make sure it is displaying better than 8-bit color.

I just realized that the better print quality samples are coming from Acrobat 8 while the poorer quality prints are coming from Acrobat 7. Once I have  them apples-to-apples I'll go from there but for now I"m blaming it on the different versions. Thanks.
