how do i set variable in dreamweaver asp.net vb

trying to modify a variable in a dreamwevaer asp.net vb datagrid.

i want to use "Total" and have every record add to it so I can use it later on the page.


<asp:TemplateColumn HeaderText="Price" ItemStyle-HorizontalAlign="right" 
        Visible="True">
                    <ItemTemplate><%# Decimal.Parse(spItemList.FieldValue("ItemPrice", Container)).ToString("C")  %>
                        <%# Total =+ Decimal.Parse(spItemList.FieldValue("ItemPrice", Container))  %>
