FQDN is listed with new citrix server and with new web interface

Hi - We just setup a new citrix server joined farm - and also installed onto it a new citrix web interface. All ok - BUt I noticed now when the users session timesout - and they are prompted to login (or in fact if you click start - logoff) - you can see the FQDN of our domain. - The other servers dont do this  - ie it just shows the netbios domain name (1 word)? - anh ideas help appreciated

Are you seeing the FQDN on the Web Interface Login or the Windows GINA (i..e Ctrl-Alt-Delete Screen)?  If it is on the Web Interface you'll need to re-configure the Web Interface to use the "shortname" for your domain.  I've seen this where a Web Interface as the FQDN and then when you launch an application you have to login to the server when typically it's pass-through.

Although I think you may be referring to the Windows GINA.  What happens if you RDP to the server, is the dropdown showing the "shortname" or the FQDN?

Thanks Krazy - very odd its now fixed - not entirely clear though. rdp always had shrt name.
What i did i went to citrix web int - unhid the domain field so users see it on front screen - (i dont want this) - but what i also did was change from FQDN to short name. - I then hid again - and left short name lsited in the box on citrix wen int - now domain field is hidden for users - (yes your right it was in windows when their session timed out or when you went start logoff) - you could see fqdn. Now its listed correct as short name. The odd thing in all this is that on the old web interface - it was set as fqdn - in fact the new web int - was just imported from the old!. - only slight diff is the new web int is 4.6 - old 4.5 - maybe thats something? - anyway fixed now thanks for input
