Hello,

I have an HP ML310 G3 with internal RAID controller. This server currently has two SATA disks with 146GB in RAID 1 configuration. I would like to add two new Disks  with 750GB and configure them as RAID 1.

Is it possible to have two arrays (RAID 1) in this server? Or should I install the two new disks and install everything from scratch.

The OS is Windows SBS 2003

Setting up two raid 1 arrays should hopefully not be an issue. It is realy a limit of the raid card. If you give me the model of the raid card i can give you a more percise answer. I have done this many times though on different HP servers.
I hope this helps. Good luck.

The only thing that I know about this server is the model (470064-216) and that the controller is onboard. From the Devices/SCSI and RAID Controllers it has an entry "Adaptec Serial ATA HostRAID"
and under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers it has "Intel 631xESB/6321ESB Ultra ATA Storage Controller - 269E"

I hope this gives an idea.

I have installed multiple arrays on different/bigger server but this one is small

You should have no trouble setting up two separate raid 1 raids with this card.
Good luck.
