Mail bounced back for Exchange 2003

Some of the emails to recipents are classified as spam and couldn't be delivered. I'm using Exchange 2003. How can I vertify that my Exchange 2003 doesn't send out any spam emails.

Any suggestion to identify the problem as I find my IP drops in the blacklist again even though I have requested to take it up. Any suggestion on this ??

Thanks

Is this emails sent from your Exchange server to external recipients are being bounced?

Sounds like it is a case of spoofing. You won't get blacklisted as the lists aren't fooled by a spoofed sender.

But just to make sure:

You could also set it to not accept messages for non existant users:

http://www.amset.info/exchange/filter-unknown.asp

and run through these:

a) Check the mail smtp queues in Exchange System Manager to see if there is unusual activity.

b) Do a DNS test at http://member.dnsstuff.com/pages/dnsreport.php

c) See if you are blacklisted at http://www.robtex.com/

d)  In case you need to secure your server:
