Printer Won't Print After Processing Job/Data Received on Status Panel, Then Jibberish

Pinter won't print any longer.  Jobs go to old Jet Direct, then the 4100's status panel says Processing Job, then Data Received, then no job.  Data light remains illuminated.  If Go button is pressed a page comes out with one or two lines of jiberesh.

Reinstall the drivers.

Err, sorry I should have stated this is a MAC.  But the problem can be duplicated on both the MAC and on the Paralles PC partition.

I think I need to run some kind of printer dianostice tests from the Printer's hardware control panel.  But I'm not sure how to use it.   Further more, if I press the test button on the Jet Direct, I get the same behavior.  So jobs from Windows, Apple, and the Jet Direct all produce the same symptoms.
