Aright Pros, I just walked into a job and was given the task to straighten out our backups, which I have accomplished, while looking into our backup setup, I found that we had a NEXSAN ATABaby attached to my server running BackupExec 11d via scsi cable and it is not being used at all.  The only device that my server is using is my Tape Library.  With limited knowledge in this area, I am looking for anybody who can help me get this device up and running.  I can find no mention of the device through BackupExec Device Tab and want to use the hardware.  Thanks...

1) Find the manufacturer, and also check the Symantec site for drivers if needed.

2) Can you see any DATA on the SAN device ,you may be missing installation or drivers.

I hope this helps !

Thanks, the drivers were missing.  Also I failed to check the ID of the device versus the ID of the card.  Works now.
