Server BIOS / PCI bootup error

I have a server running O/s ( windows server 2003 x64 standard SP2 )  on a unisys es7000 hardware platform.
It has 2 HBA's ( EMULEX Lightpulse LP10000 ) installed.
One of the HBA's was recently replaced with an exact match of the previous one.
Now when the server is restarted , it throws out an error in the BIOS boot as follows.

expansion ROM not initialized - PCI Serial Bus Controller in slot 0E Bus:4C Device:01, Function:00
expansion ROM not initialized - PCI Serial Bus Controller in slot 0E Bus:4C Device:01, Function:01

Press <F1> to resume , <F2> to setup

When I press F1 , it boots up fine and loads the O/S.
These HBA cards are installed in  PCI slots 4 and 7.
Slot 3 contains a network adapter.

I have read an article that talks about an intel boot agent. do you think this is relevant to my issue.

Any pointers in the right direction is welcome.

Did it do that from the beginning or has it just started? If this is a new problem, change the CMOS battery.

sorry for the late reply. It has only started after the replacing of one of the HBA's.
do you think it could be a mismatch in the BIOS versions
It could be a firmware issue, I'd try upgrading the firmwares to the newest versions. But in any case first change the batteries of the PC and also of the RAID controllers if they have batteries.
