I need to change the default address book in OWA to a public folder with shared contacts in it.  As it is just now it is using the GAL as default and the users are complaining it's too much effort to navigate about. I've checked through and couldn't find any question exactly like this. Hope someone can help

Unfortunately only the default contact folder of the mailbox is supported in this release and neither Exchange Server 5.5 Service Pack 2 nor 3 has changed this behavior.   Exchange 2007 does have this feature.

There is an undocumented/unsupported fix for the exchange administrator.  I cannot recommend it though, as I have no customers that have tried it.

Hope this helps.
