Can't copy 2.5 gb of data to 8 gb flash drive.

The user has an 8GB flash drive, we try to copy a folder of 2.5 GB to the flash drive we get an error message stating drive is full insert another. The system recognizes the flash drive as having 7.44 GB free, yet it will not copy the entire folder. The contents of the folder consist of 5 .mdb files and 1 .pst file, it will copy the mdb files but gets the error message when it starts copying the pst.  I have used the same flash drive on my pc and I have been able to copy up to 7gb on to it, including my own pst file. I have also tried multiple 8gb flash drives on the users pc, same error.

How is the flash drive fornatted - if its FAT/FAT 32 then you are probably exceeding the max file size limit - reformat the drive in NTFS

ASKER

It's FAT32 but it works fine on other pc's, just not on the one in question
