I have a parent domain with 2 dc. I also have 2 dcs in a remote location that are mebers of a subdomain. I am adding 2 more dc to a new location that is part of my parent domain. To control replication I will place the 2 new dcs in one site. Should I place the 2 dcs in my subdomain also in there own site or shoudl I just include them as part of my main site.

To maximize efficiency in your AD infrastructure it is recommended that your Site layout match your physical layout as closely as possible. If these subdomains are in a different phsyical location it is advisable to place them in a seperate site.

Thanks for the link. Subdomains tied in with replication can be a bit obscure
