I have a search page I am creating (.aspx).  There is an existing database with tables "topic" "search" and "library".  I have draged and dropped four drop down list controls in visual studio, and bound them to the proper data source to populate them.  My question is two fold -

1.  How do I place a button on that page that reads the listed dropdown selection, and queries the database to return the images and list of attributes I want.

2.  Place a selection in the dropdown list that returns all values (when configuring each of them, I configured a select, where statement.  I would rather not mess with the database to include an "all' category....

Thanks for your guidance, i am a beginner!
