I am having issues restarting my SBS server. It hangs on Applying Computer Settings. I have not let it go or finish the loading because after 20 min it is pointless. I have read other posts and found that if I restart in Safemode and disable all MS Exchange services I can get it to load normally. Then I start the services and everything works. <br />
I have removed all updates from now to 2 months ago.<br />
I do not have APC software installed.<br />
I have checked the Manage auditing and security log in the policy setting and Exchange Enterprise Servers is listed.<br />

What else could I do to troubleshoot?

Small Business Server (SBS) is a line of server operating systems targeted at small businesses by bundling the operating system with a number of other Microsoft products that would normally need to be purchased or licensed separately. The most notable inclusions are Exchange, SQL Server, SharePoint and ISA/TMG (Microsoft's firewall and proxy server).

Servers are computing devices that are similar to desktop computers in that they have the same basic components, but are significantly different in size, configuration and purpose.
